a. Is SmartLedger (S/L) easy to install?
Answer:
Yes, just put in the CD and it will auto-run the setup. However
setting up the GL interfaces and control accounts will need a bit of
accounting knowledge - either from the user manual or our classes.
Anyway, this part the complexity is addressed by our field
specialists.
b. How many companies can S/L support?
Answer: Unlimited numbers - so long as your hard disk space permit
within each computer
c. Why is S/L priced so low - is it any good?
Answer: We are interested to engage businesses as they are young and
growing. We believe the best business partnership is one where we
grow with you. And we know that most young companies are not in
favor of tying down cash flows in high capital items like a
software. That is why we created a power-packed entry-level system
that is fully functional (otherwise you would buy our competitors'
products) yet can allow you to outgrow into our enterprise solutions
in the years ahead.
d. Can S/L handle project accounting?
Answer: Yes both Std and Premier versions come with PDS feature to
capture income & expenses by projects.
e. Can S/L be used in a network
environment?
Answer: Yes, you may connect multiple license keys within a network
for those machines running S/L. With the key, any machine can
effectively run S/L. Beyond 3 stations, it may be more viable for
you to consider Evo-Financials.
f. Why are training packages priced
separately?
Answer: For Singapore companies, you may claim for training grants
under SDF (Skills Dev Fund) for your staffs to learn how to use S/L.
Only this training portion is grant-able whereas the software
portion is not.
